Guitar: Justin Allen with S*an D. Henry-Smith (2020)

Supported by a yearlong residency at ISSUE Project Room, performances Guitar, Bass, and Drums build on Explain Totality (version 4), in which I sing in a four-piece punk band with S*an D. Henry-Smith on guitar, Taja Cheek on bass, and Savannah Harris on drums. Performances include live instrumentation, singing, screaming vocals, movement and dance.

On a dramatically lit stage, I lunge forward screaming into a megaphone as Sean stands beside me playing the guitar.
